The 1997 Eurovision Song Contest was held at The Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 3 May 1997. Presented by Ronan Keating from Boyzone and Carrie Crowley.
For the first time, five countries, UK, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Austria, enabled the viewers to vote for their favourite song.
