the selection of the Irish Entries for the 2000 contest, on
satellite channel, TARA.
The UK Great British Song Contest was shown on BBC1, LIVE on
Sunday 20 February 2000 at 4:35pm. Results were announced at 5:10pm.
The televoting only last 10 minutes, from 4:55pm to 5:05pm GMT.
