A relax day, visiting Gloucester, to do a bit of shopping.
Gloucester may be only 17 miles by road from my starting station
at Ledbury, but it is a 43 miles by train. Gloucester Station has
the longest platform in the UK, as mention in the Guiness World
of Records. It is about a mile long! However, each platform is
split into 2 or 3 platform number.
